I like most shades of blue so I think its good. Although, honestly, I prefer sites with a darker background... Its easier on the eyes, especially if you spend long periods of time on those sites reading things.

Which colours were used by the previous scheme?

The previous theme was completely black. I liked the black but not everybody does so i changed it just to take the "Outer Space" look off the forum. For general chat, a simple neutral blue theme seemed to be best.#

This forum was running for about 6 or 7 months before anyone other than me posted a message. Maybe they were a bit intimidated by the dark look of the all black theme.

The blue is good!

Seventeen or Bust use brown throughout and have done so for years. What do you think of that?

I must admit it's fairly easy on the eyes, although the blue is also fairly kind.

That website looks cool, the brown color actually looks very good on the website.

In this forum admin panel, there are a couple of different themes i could choose from, the blue seemed simple and easy to read.

There are many things we could do with this website if the members of this team want something better. For example, the advertising on this website is put there by the forum host, not me, so we don't benefit from it. This website could be moved to a new domain with a complete new look if users wanted that, with or without the advertising banners. We could also get a completely different looking website, there are many options

Definitely, although I think the darker colour - like on Seventeen or Bust - is nicer... :)
