Team South Africa list of team founders and team Info

Last list update; 10 August 2008

This is a list of the current team founders on the team called "South Africa" on all the BOINC projects. The reason that i say the team called "South Africa" is that there are many other teams on these projects that have a very similar name. But the only thing that links BOINC projects together is the statistics websites. So the only teams we are concerned with are the teams that the name is spelled exactly like this; "South Africa". Any other variation of that name is not counted by the stats websites as being this particular team.

I would actively encourage teams with a similar name to band together and come and join this team called "South Africa". It would be nice to have one single team South Africa that is active and has an active team website with chat and information. This is better than 10 small teams that have no team website and never communicate with each other. There is power in numbers.

I seemed to have overlooked the LHC@home site - don't know why. Anyway, now rectified.

Don't forget the BBC climate project; http://bbc.cpdn.org//team_display.php?teamid=697

I know the BBC climate project is finished but it just creates another link to this forum. You can login by clicking the "join team" link.

I recall trying to update this one the first time round and not succeeding. Once again, it just will not accept the changes. Maybe the site is not being maintained?

Ahhhh.... But it did accept the changes!, have a look; http://bbc.cpdn.org/team_display.php?teamid=697

I think when you update the team info, some projects "cache" the information so it takes an hour or 2 for the info to appear.

Looks OK now! :D

Any ideas for spreading the word about BOINC, this website and team South Africa?
