Hi Phillip69

You've amassed a huge amount of credit!! When did you first start crunching?

Indeed, a warm welcome to Phillip. Over 10 million cobblestones (i.e. BOINC credits) is some going!

Don't worry, Pongo, with your RAC, it will only take you another 2 years or so to overtake Phillip.

Hi stackoverflow....

Been crunching still from the old days of SETI...... have the advantage of being Big Brother at the office so have about 10 machines to use including a quad core that pushes about 3,500 credit a day....... just busy fighting with Boincview currently as the new machines don't want to play nicely... they run boinc it is just I cannot see it......

There are 2 other Safricans with over 10 million credits..... must contact them and get them to join the group

Wow, Pongo is leaving the rest in the dust by a long margin. Keep up the good work.

I hope the MilkyWay project is producing work that will be of some benefit.

I think it is, but even more so when its done. Creating a 3D model of the (MilkyWay) galaxy is quite an audacious task. Here's a very detailed explanation of the project if you're interested.

Thanks Stack.

I understand that MilkyWay is optimised to for maximum benefit from the GPU (CUDA) applications. I have an underpowered GPU which brings the rest of the computer to a grinding halt when using CUDA apps. I'll just have to sit back and applaud the amazing progress Pongo is making. His total is now more than double that of Phillip!
