Work at LHC@home

It seems that LHC@home has a smattering of work available at long last!

Once again, some more work has been released. You'd better be quick, though!

The previous smattering of work did not last long.

Meanwhile, the BBC has reported that the LHC is nearing the end of commissioning.

It's a pity that this BOINC project which has assisted in getting the particle beams aligned is being left out of the mainstream data crunching. :(

More work has been made available, with a promise of even more news in September. Here's hoping!

Oh well, so much for that. No sooner had the work started than it ceased. This project really tests our patience.

The Project has been resurrected and moved to new servers at CERN. All the history has been moved across, including the message forums.

Best of all, there seems to be a steady flow of work at last. It does require a detach and reattach which is pretty seamless.

Please see the new website.
